What is Toora Loora?

Toora Loora is a Seattle-based children’s clothing brand that brings together quality, functionality and style. With an opt-in subscription model, or traditional e-Commerce purchasing, Toora Loora provides a convenient shopping experience that allows parents to spend more time with their family.

 

How does the subscription work?

It’s simple! Just create your child’s profile to help us better understand your child’s age, gender and size. Then choose what level you would like to subscribe at:

  • Level 1: 4 items quarterly
  • Level 2: 6 items quarterly
  • Level 3: 8 items quarterly

After submitting, you’ll receive a new shipment quarterly about two weeks before you child’s next age milestone. 

 

How much does the subscription cost?

Level 1: $120 per shipment for 4 items

  • A ~10% discount on webstore pricing. Level 1 subscribers will also see a 10% discount automatically applied to any purchases made through the webstore when logged into their account.

Level 2: $175 per shipment for 6 items

  • A ~15% discount on webstore pricing. Level 2 subscribers will also see a 15% discount automatically applied to any purchases made through the webstore when logged into their account.

Level 3: $220 per shipment for 8 items

  • A ~20% discount on webstore pricing. Level 3 subscribers will also see a 20% discount automatically applied to any purchases made through the webstore when logged into their account.

Your account will be billed once the box ships.

 

How is the Toora Loora subscription different from other clothing subscription services?

Babies grow fast, and we know it can be challenging to keep up with their wardrobe. As a subscriber:

  • You’ll automatically receive quarterly shipments, with sizes that grow with your child.
  • There’s no stylist, meaning no stylist fees. While each box has been curated by our design team, you have an opportunity to personalize and change each box before it ships.
  • There’s no added incentive to keep items you might not love. If you don’t love something, simply ship it back for an exchange or refund.
  • You can pause your subscription and pick back up at anytime without a fee or penalty. There is no limit on the number of months you can pause your subscription.
  • Once items ship, you do not need to login to your account again to validate the items you want to keep.
  • When you receive your box, you will have the option to donate the contents of the last box to Babies of Homelessness rather than storing clothing that is now too small for your little one, thereby freeing up some much-needed wardrobe space. How frequent are shipments?

Subscriptions boxes are shipped quarterly, meaning every 3 months.

 

What sizes do you carry?

At this time, Toora Loora offers 6 sizes of clothing; 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18-24 months. If we do not currently stock the size you are looking for, please check back regularly as we plan to add additional sizes in the future. On the lookout? Do you automatically update sizes based on my child’s age?

Yes. Based on the profile you created, each shipment will automatically include sizes that will grow with your child.

 

What if my baby isn’t in the 50th percentile, can I adjust the sizing on my subscription?

Yes. We know that every baby is unique and grows at a different pace! You can change size at anytime by simply logging in to your account and updating the subscription. Please update your account before the next box is scheduled to ship. If change requests are received after the box has already shipped, those changes will not take effect until the next box is ready to go. If you child is growing more slowly, you can always pause your account to delay the next shipment.

 

Does Toora Loora pick the items included in my subscription box each quarter?

Yes. In an effort to save you time, every box is painstakingly curated by our design team so that not only does it stand alone, with all pieces in the box working together, but also in relation to the other boxes in your subscription to ensure you receive fresh pieces each quarter. Thoughtful planning and detail have been put into each shipment to ensure diversity of items that maximize the number of outfits for your little one.

 

Can I choose to swap out items in my box?

Yes. You are your own stylist! You’ll receive an email four weeks before your next box is due to ship, which includes a list of items scheduled to arrive. If you’d like to swap out any items, you’ll have two weeks to do so (boxes ship ~2 weeks before your child's next age milestone). Simply login to your account to make any desired updates. While logged in, you can also supplement your box by making webstore purchases. Remember, your subscriber level discount will automatically be applied to all webstore orders made while logged in. These items will ship immediately, and not with your subscription box.

 

When will I receive my box?

You can expect your first box roughly 5-7 business days from the time you place your order.

Subsequent boxes will ship around 2 weeks before your child’s next age milestone. Shipping will take 3-5 business days on average.

 

What are age milestones?

At this time, there are six age milestones and they align with our clothing sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18-24 months.

 

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. You can pause your subscription at any time. Simply login to your Toora Loora account and indicate the action you’d like to take. If you pause and decide to continue your subscription at a later date, the next box that ships will take into account the time that your account was paused, meaning items will be age and size appropriate.

 

Can I give a Toora Loora subscription as a gift?

Yes. A gift subscription would work the same way as a regular subscription except you would enter the mailing address of the recipient as the ‘shipping address’ during checkout. The purchaser of the subscription will remain as the main point of contact for Toora Loora communication, including emails about upcoming boxes. To change or update the email address on your account, contact customer care at info@tooraloora.com.

 

What if I have two children? Are they both included in my subscription?

If you want a subscription tailored to each of your children, you will need to create a separate subscription for each. 

 

Are the garments and fabric safe for my little one?

The safety of your little one is a top priority at Toora Loora. Yes, all garments have been tested and certified according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission's standards. We also take pride in the fact that we partner with suppliers that are environmentally responsible and prioritize sustainable manufacturing practices with Toora Loora fabrics.

 

What is Modal?

Modal is a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber, which is a type of rayon, increasingly used in clothing. The modal fabric we use is made in America from modal fibers produced by the Austrian company Lenzing AG.

 

Why did you choose to use Modal in your clothing?

We specifically chose Modal for its stretchiness and its softness, which make it ideal for children’s clothing. Modal is also breathable, resists shrinking, is color fast and has low pilling.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time.

 

Do you charge for shipping?

We offer free shipping on orders over $50. We offer free shipping for approved returns and exchanges.

 

When will my card be charged?

Your card will be charged upon the shipment of the box.

 

What is your return policy?

Returns must be initiated within 30 calendar days of the intial purchase. Returns can be initiated with an online request. Simply login to your Toora Loora account, click on the ‘Returns’ link, and complete a return request. If you do not have an account simply email us at info@tooraloora.com. Unless defective, items must be returned in an unworn and salable condition with tags still attached. Toora Loora will review the request and issue a return shipping label for you to print and use to ship back your qualifying items. Questions? Email info@tooraloora.com

 

What is your cancellation policy?

The simplest way to cancel your subscription is to pause it indefinitely. Alternatively, if you wish, you can cancel your subscription at any time. To do so, please contact customer service at info@tooraloora.com

 

How can I participate in the Give Back program?

Clear the closet and help babies in need! Join us in donating worn or used clothes for babies in need through our partnership with Babies of Homelessness. Each subscription box contains a donation bag with a return shipping label attached. Subscribers can put worn Toora Loora clothing into the mailer and simply drop it at their closest FedEx location and we will ensure they get to Babies of Homelessness. How is Toora Loora giving back as a company?

Make a difference with every purchase! We donate 5% of our profits to Babies of Homelessness, a local volunteer organization that relies 100% on donations to help babies in need. Our founder also serves on the Babies of Homelessness committee.
